I was in my head a lot before it started. I had two decks and probably chose the wrong one to play. Round 1 Ken Brant FL (-50) Ken had a lot of stop prevention and was able to get missions completed faster than I was. That locked it. Round 2 Neal Lawson FW (+55) I was not drawing my cadets so I had to attempt Eliminate Sphere Network which I really did not want to do. Luckily my dilemmas were holding up Neal well and I was able to get the win. Round 3 Kenneth Tufts FW (+100)View opponent's ReportView original Report All I will say about this game is that Ken Tufts is a really stand-up guy and I am so happy that I met him this weekend. He deserves some kind of Awesomest Man Of The Year award if you ask me. Fed Cadets, 1 mission win deck. we both started quick with a solve his fro 50 mine for 30+5 from him. it was then close both of us getting stoope don our last missions my 3rd his second then he forgot about my Trnasfer crash survivors and attempted with 5 with 5 under I beat them up consumign a tone leaving like 10 under it on my turn I miss read cluttering and solved for the win... after cleanign up I relazed my mistake and knowing the game was his 100% the next turn I conceded the game giving him his rightfull victory. Round 4 Brian Leonard FL (-100)View opponent's ReportView original Report I got cadet screwed and ship screwed and Brian was running at full speed. There was nothing I could do. I was in my head and making stupid mistakes contributed to my loss as well. Michael was having a tough day by this point. I do not remember much from this game. Round 5 Edward Pigman FL (-50)View opponent's ReportView original Report I knew what Ed was playing, and as soon as we heard the matchup, I honestly was ready to just concede and go walk around the con floor before it closed. I got a mission complete but Ed blew up my ship stranding a ton of people and killing a bunch more. That was it. He had killed Tallera earlier on so I wouldn't have had enough to win even if I had finished the Restore Errant Moon. Closer game than it seemed. Blew up ent-D and T'authen'd tallera cementing the need for a 3rd mission. managed to chew thru dilemmas before another enterprise could show up.
