I brought a meta-control deck that I built specifically for Worlds, but Battle had been playing well on Friday night, so I decided to spin the wheel. I made a good choice, I think. Round 1 () My first pod had Ken Tufts with his 200k head start. He was playing Poison/Utilize and scoring tons of points from the Bank of Josh Sheets. Round 3 went on forever, but I managed to finally go out with over a million in my pile after a number of successful battles. At that point I had about 200k points, mostly from Tally. We started Round 4 with 2 minutes to go. I had 1.24 million and Ken with 1.21 million. I knew if he managed another Utilize or Poison, I was toast. Luckily, he wasn't able to pull it off and I held onto the win. It was one of the best matches I've ever played.
