Treacherous Ferengi Solvers Mk II |
Introduction |
I decided to play Ferengi today, since I think I am one tourney away from Blessed Exchequer. It's tough to tell from the little bar on the website. |
|
Round 1 | | Michael Moskop | FL (-65)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I made a very stupid mistake this round. I finished Falsify Distress signal, then flew to Mine Vendarite and attempted with 6. However, I only had 2 command guys, and Mike killed one of them (who was also one of my security guys) on the first attempted. I was destaffed and couldn't solve the mission. I spent the rest of the time trying to draw and play a ship and staffers. |
Maggie was having trouble drawing a ship, and once she did, I was able to destaff her on her second mission. That gave me time enough to complete my missions while she was trying to get a new ship and crew out. |

Round 2 | | Brian Leonard | MW (+15)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
I was really wishing for a Klingon Tea Ceremony, as Brian was playing Guidance of the Council. He Son'chi-ed my Rule #6 twice, which slowed me down. I managed to get the MW anyway, which is what my deck does best. |
Maggie won. |

Round 3 | | Corbin Johnson | FW (+30)View opponent's ReportView original Report |
This was a close round! Corbin got a ton of folks out using Nathan Samuels. He also had Damaged Archer, but my dilemma pile is pretty good against him, as it's all choose instead of random selection. I managed to eke out the win with a well-timed Timescape and 4 stops. |
So close! But the ferengi prevailed |

Closing Thoughts |
I love this deck, but I'm ready to retire it. If I get Blessed Exchequer, it's gonna go to pasture. |
